As well as providing seamless download file delivery after a Paypal transaction Linklok Paypal can also deliver other product related data as well. For example Linklok can deliver serial numbers, unlock codes, license keys, PIN numbers or other data. Linklok can also integrate with other applications such as affiliate systems.

Uses PHP which is already installed on most servers
Linklok Paypal requires PHP 4 or PHP 5. PHP is installed on nearly all Linux and Windows based
servers whether they are shared or dedicated.

Verifies orders are genuine with Paypal before delivery
When called by IPN or PDT Linklok will verify orders with Paypal to ensure they are genuine before
displaying or emailing download links. Linklok also checks that the amount paid is at least that
defined for the product. These checks are important to stop hackers redirecting their own buttons
or modifying the prices in yours.

Displays download page after payment using PDT and Auto Return or the older post method
When your client returns to your site after paying they will see a download page containing the
link(s) for all the products ordered. By default Linklok uses a simple built in page but you can define
a custom template to be used which can then seamlessly match your site. You can disable the
download page if you prefer only to email links.

Sends download email using IPN (this is sent even if the buyer does not return to your site)
When your client competes the Paypal checkout they will be sent an email containing the link(s)
for all the products ordered (in addition to the download page). This email gets sent by IPN so

Download links expire after a fixed time or can be set to never expire
Download links generated by Linklok can have an expiry time set which can be from minutes up to
several years. They can also be set to never expire in which case they simply hide the location of
the file on your server.

Links can be locked to buyers IP address (needs button change)
As well as the expiry time set in download links Linklok can also IP lock them to the buyer. This
does require some small changes to your buy buttons though. In most cases time expiry is
sufficient anyway.

Nobody ever knows the actual server location of the download file - not even the purchaser!
The download links do not contain the location of the file on your server so there is no risk of the
link being decoded etc. This ensures that nobody can ever bypass Linklok and link directly to
your product files.

Links use MD5 hashing so they are tamper proof

Supports unlimited products in the Paypal shopping cart
Your buyers can add any number of products to the Paypal shopping cart. Linklok will display and
email all of the required download links.

Supports multiple files per product (product bundles or combos)
Sometimes you may have products that contain multiple files. Linklok can handle these bundle
( or combos) with ease. If you sell music tracks (mp3's) then this is a great way to sell albums.

Linklok Paypal can deliver download products from eBay listings. However please note that
Paypal have changed their policy about sales of digital products on eBay so this may not be
allowed in some cases.

Linklok Paypal supports any currency that Paypal can work with. These include USD, EUR, GBP,
AUD, JPY and others.

eCheck payments can be set for instant download or delayed until cleared
By default Linklok will accept check payments like any other and deliver the digital products
immediately after checkout. However if you prefer to wait until the check has cleared before
delivering the files then Linklok can do this. In this case Linklok will automatically email the
download links when the check funds clear your account (usually 4 working days later).

Download & email templates are fully customizable for seamless delivery of digital products
Download and email templates are fully customizable. You can generate the pages in your favourite html editor in the same way as the rest of your site and then use special template variables where you want order specific data to be inserted. For example !!!orderno!!! will insert the Paypal transaction id in the template. Templates can be HTML or PHP based allowing you to still use any web stats code or affiliate code you may need.
Product specific download page and email templates can be assigned
For most sites one email and one download page template can handle all orders. However

Can generate software unlock keys from files, a PHP function, Clicklocker or Software Passport
One of the many powerful features of Linklok is its ability to provide extra product data such as

Can protect access to an html or PHP page instead of a download

If you use Software Passport (Armadillo) to protect your software you can now sell via Paypal and

From time to time Paypal may block a buyers payment immediately when they purchase. In this case you can choosewhether to still deliver the downloads or to delay delivery until Paypal have finished reviewing and approve the payment.
Integration with PDF Honeypot
PDF Honeypot is a third party script that allows you to embed a buyers details into PDF files making them much less likely to be shared. Linklok automates this process so that the buyers Paypal email address is embedded in each page of the PDF file.
Works with GetResponse
Get Response is a popular email marketing service. Linklok can automatically add your clients to a global or product specific GetResponse campaign. The user will of course still receive a confirmation email from GetResponse to complete the process to comply with spam regulations.
