Linklok URL allows you to place links to download files (or embedded images etc) on your website while securely hiding the true location of the files. The actual files linked to can actually be stored anywhere on your server (within or outside of webroot) or even on another server on the other side of the world! Links are automatically authenticated using MD5 and can be set to expire between 1 minute and several years after creation if required. Links can also be locked to the users IP address ensuring they can't be shared even before they expire! There is basically no way an internet user can find out the actual location of your files.

Examples
Linklok URL can create links within your page dynamically as the page is created. The following download link hides the true location.
The following image also has the location hidden and has a 10 minute expiry time. This means that is someone copies the link and places it on another site (a forum for example) it will stop working after 10 minutes. A user accessing the image correctly from our site will have no problems seeing the image even if they refresh the page.
Linklok URL can also lock links to the IP address of the user. This feature can of course be combined with an expiry time as well. To handle ISP's who change their IP address for each access you can adjust how many parts of the IP address to verify. We suggest checking only the first 3 parts as in the example below.
Linklok URL has a feature to provide secure download links to a user via email by simply attaching it to a form on your page. After the form has asked the user for his email address (and anything else you wish) it creates secure links to the required files and emails them to the user. This way you can be sure of getting a real email address from the user and also be sure that after the link expiry time he cannot use the link again (or give it to someone else). Linklok even has a feature to refuse certain email addresses such as those from yahoo.com or hotmail.com etc which are often used to hide the true identity of the user. The example form below will allow you to download the manual for Linklok URL. Be sure to enter your real email address otherwise you won't receive the link. The link will be valid for 60 minutes and is not IP locked. Notice the optional CAPTCHA (turing) code which reduces spam problems.
